Join the GOTR excitement as a team!

Gather your coworkers, friends, running group, family, or neighbors and join the GOTR excitement as a team!

Whether you want to give time, money, or in-kind donations, we have lots of ways for you to help keep GOTR Stark running.

Gather your team, choose an option (or two), set your goal, and sign up as a GOTR Team online here.

If your team wants run or walk & raise funds…

  • Sign up to be a 5-Person SoleMates Relay Team at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Maraton to run & raise funds for GOTR Stark.
  • Designate a SoleMates Runner and fundraise as a team for their fundraising campaign.

If you want your team to show their support for GOTR programs…

Collect donations:

  • Host a Build-a-Bin supply drive in your office (Must be received by January 15th for spring or August 1 for fall)
  • Host a shoe & running clothing drive (New or gently used girls size small to women’s XL)

Pool your money to:

  • Sponsor a team ($750)--as a team sponsor you can add empowering words or your team name to the back of your team's t-shirts.
  • Sponsor healthy snacks ($100 per site)
  • Provide shoe scholarships ($35 per pair)
  • Provide snacks, water, and/or decorations for a team’s practice 5k

Work as a team to donate your time to:

  • Spread the word about GOTR as part of Team Adelaide
  • Deliver flyers & snacks to sites (Last week of January for spring, last week of August for fall)
  • Form a cheering squad for a team’s practice 5k

If your team wants to show your support at the GOTR 5k…

Train for & run the GOTR 5k as a team using our free running or walking training guide.

 

Pool your money to:

  • Sponsor a SoleMale—find someone who wants to be the only male to run the GOTR 5k and work as a team to fundraise for him.

Collect donations:

  • Host a Happy Hair Booth drive—collect colored hair spray and/or hair chalk an pink and green face paint.
  • Host an InstaGlam drive—collect fun dress up items (feather boas, capes, goofy glasses, crowns, mustaches, etc) for the InstaGlam photo booth.
  • Collect stickers & bling for the bib decorating table.

Work as a team to donate your time to:

  • Form a Power Patrol (a team of Running Buddies) for one program or your GOTR girl--5k  registration is required for each participant.
  • Form a finish line support team.
  • Form a road marshal crew—your team can work one area along the 5k route to cheer one our runners.
  • Form a water stop crew.
  • Be the award stage crew—this season we are planning to have a small stage for GOTR participants to accept their program medals, get finisher photos, and finisher certificates.
  • Form a 5k set-up crew.
  • Form an InstaGlam photo booth crew.
  • Form a Happy Hair Booth crew.
  • Be team assistants (get supplies for coaches, help team members find their way after they finish the 5k, take team photos, etc).
  • Form a team stylist crew (apply girl power stripes and hair color before the 5k).
  • Form a bib decorating team.
  • Form a roaming photography crew.
  • Form a registration desk team.
